Türkiye's first indigenous serial-production main battle tank: designed for modern combat with a 120 mm gun, composite/reactive armor and active protection shield.

Due to Germany's embargo on the MTU/RENK powertrain, the first 85 tanks (T1) are being delivered with the South Korean Doosan DV27K engine + SNT Dynamics transmission; transition to the indigenous BMC Power BATU powertrain (T2) is planned from 2027–2028 onward for sovereign supply. The tank entered service on Oct 28, 2025; a first order of 250 units is being delivered in batches.
